I probably didn't phase my question right, what year represents 100%? One of you earlier charts (01/09)I think shows it as July 2000 but the increases in this chart are higher.
Some earlier charts were using July 2000 by accident, but I try to keep everything based on January 2000, so as to be directly comparable with Case-Shiller.
Here I periodically publish my calculations of a "home price index" for San Diego and some of its suburbs. It's influenced by S&P Case-Shiller index. My numbers are about 3 months ahead of Case-Shiller and they give you more insight into geographical variations of house prices across the county.
